Walk in Love

I will tell you a little bit of humour. I went to the church and I went to a guy "Are you saved do you know Jesus?"  God has a good sense of humour. He thought I was weird, a little off and peculiar. About 20 maybe 25 years later I meet this same gentleman at a conference and I had changed a lot. He invites me to the church in maple ridge I come out and I am still peculiar. The morning before I came out at night he says to his church members "I do not know if you are ready for this fellow, he is loud" - that has not changed - "he may walk on the benches, he may dance, he may do this and that". It was a good advertisement. The church was packed with people, people were on the highway looking to come in and when I entered the place they had the capacity to love people no matter who they were, no matter the agendas they had, no matter how they dressed, no matter what they looked like, no matter what they smelled like or felt like. People embraced them. It is going to shake this place.

Yes I believe in signs, yes I believe in miracles and yes I believe in wonders. United in love we cannot be shaken up, with us
we will shake this place in the way the devil will wish he never got near because the love of God just emanates. When I was in Ohio I was at a house meeting and I am not given to a lot of extras happening but God can show up wherever he wants to whenever he wants to.  I felt the presence of angels I looked over and I saw these two gentlemen who were so emanated with love it splashed one woman and when it went over her she went numb like she was out but she shone and she lit up like a Christmas tree. I will grab hold of people and I will hold on when that happens and thank God for his love.

Amen.

You know these words are not my words this is the word of God. Let us look at Ephesians 4:29 from various bibles:

English Standard Version (ESV) Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupting talk come out of your mouths but only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion, that it may give grace to those who hear.

New Living Translation (NLT) - Ephesians 4:29 Don't use foul or abusive language. Let everything you say be good and helpful, so that your words will be an encouragement to those who hear them.

Amplified Bible (AMP) -  Ephesians 4:29 Let no foul or polluting language nor evil word nor unwholesome or worthless talk (ever) come out of your mouth, but only such (speech) as is good and beneficial to the spiritual prayers of others as is fitting to the need and the occasion, that it may be a blessing and give grace (God's favour) to those who hear it.

American Standard Bible (ASB) - Ephesians 4:29 Let no unwholesome word proceed from your mouth but only such a word as is good for edification according to the need of the moment so that it will be given it no sorry it will give grace to those who hear.

King James Version (KJV) - Ephesians 4:29 Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers.

Folks, yelling, screaming, telling them to get over it is not going to get the work done, what is going to get the work done is taking the word of God and saying to them I love you, I care about you, I believe in you and we are going to see this through and we are going to walk together to see this through.

When you begin to talk something like this I find for myself this brings the calming affect, this brings things right down, but when you come at me I am gone. Do not come at people, come to people. It is extremely important that those words that we speak are acceptable and wholesome. Now a lot of you are married and have a wife or a husband and some of you are by yourself but remember this say father, let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in thy sight. Stop and ask is it acceptable, is this wholesome, is it honourable. Now,  I am not trying to lay a heavy on anybody I am talking to me as well. I am preaching to myself here I am not saying oh I got it y'all get it, that is not where I am coming from. I am coming to ask yourself is this acceptable, is this wholesome talk and I know there are pressures and challenges on every person so I am talking.

The point is you're saying we are advancing and we are breaking through. You know what the
Lord said it is in the little things not in the huge things. Folks I cannot change Bill, I cannot make Bill do anything, all that is going to do is obstruct and hinder what God wants to do. Bill has been a friend of mine for 30 years, I am not trying to embarrass him, expose him but I want to say how can I help, let's pray.

How can I help you, I will do anything to help, that is the response of being
wholesome, not being cold and letting it go. I will go pray to God in Jesus name restore that man and bless his wife, bless his family, bless his children. Those are words that are wholesome and edifying, not put down but lift up.
Stay in your anointing, stay in your gifting, stay where God called you to be but walk in love.

Social media can be great but it can be bad, there just seems to be no middle ground, it is either this or that. Some Christians get on and do things that are not wholesome and not edifying. Folks with God just say is this edifying? before you do it.

I so want us to try to
communicate the love of God to those around us and those outside these doors. I have had a crisis, not personally, but it has been a crisis for a friend of mine for 45 years. You know what we are the only army that wounds it's own and leaves them.  It is horrible but folks this is a fact of life. You can say we have to move on, yes but how we move on is when you help somebody else in that position and not just say oh well that is their problem, you just have to get a hold of God. Well that language does not fit the word, that might be right but the timing and the gestures and the body language of that is incorrect.

What is it ... I will help you, I will have coffee, let's sit down and get more of it out. Like an onion you know folks it hurts because it is believers that talk and gossip not the world believers and so they learn this.

Where there is strife there is confusion and every evil work.

Well I tell you this when we stay out of that (strife) and walk in love and walk in truth and walk in mercy and walk in grace toward each other rather than say barely through the door.

My mother did not tell the truth, mother did not care for her children, she abandoned all four, I had to walk in love, did I take her abuse, no I did not but I put up the boundaries around that.  I went down to see her but here is what I am saying. she tried to create so much strife
but I would not allow the strife to come in.

You cannot allow the strife to come into your home, marriage, family, into any area because it says where there is strife there is confusion and every evil work.

This person is a wonderful person and he loves his family but I am not going to put myself in a place of abuse. I will not put myself in a place that will harm me or my family so you walk in love. Our confession is one thing, if this was easy we would all be doing it so it is not all easy folks but God will give you the grace.

James 3:16 (AMP)
For wherever there is jealousy (envy) and contention (rivalry and self ambition) there will also be confusion (unrest, disharmony, rebellion) and all sorts of evil and vile practices.

People, we are not jealous of anything you got I will pray that you got everything more than you got. There is enough to go around for everybody. A woman in cloverdale used to say everybody can have it.
God indeed desires to bless you, to prosper you, to increase for you to have more than enough, the key to all of that is that breakthrough that God intends for you, the key is to stay out of that strife.

I can feel it the word was for me but I speak it over you I speak encouraged to all of you, you are the head and not the tail. You are above and not beneath, you are blessed coming in and going out. You are blessed in the city to be a blessing. When you bless someone else it comes back. It might not come back right away but it always come back every time.

I declare over myself I walk in divine health. Your testimony not only inspires this church but it has a dramatic  effect on me, a dramatic effect on me I say God that man's resilience but he is a man of faith. I do not know a person that has had 17 attacks on his heart and is still walking. You know as this was happening Bill, Joanne and myself we never got out of faith and we stood and said he is coming through we did not go by what we hear or see, we went by the word of God. I say to all of you be encouraged.
We love you and care about you and if there are things that you want prayer for there is an opportunity for that here.
