Galatians 6:9 (AMP)
“Let us not grow weary or become discouraged in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap, if we do not give in.”
The bible gives many examples of people who patiently waited on God and received their expectations through their faith, trust, and confidence in God’s unfailing character. May I suggest to you that just because it appears that it hasn’t happened yet, does not mean that what you believe for will not happen. There will always be pressure to settle for what you have. Some may even say, “You don’t have to try. You don’t need to go any further. It is better that you let go rather than hold on.” Again the scripture encourages us to stir up our faith that God does not leave things incomplete. What He starts He finishes. I would like to say, “That it is your due season.” Your prayers, your confessions, the favour that is yours, the promises that God has given I declare are coming to pass. God has everything in place. Your time is now and in your spirit you need to declare, “I am moving forward.” I would also say lack, constantly struggling, barely getting by, and all images that associate with such things are not your destiny. We need to exchange these for valid biblical truth.
My exhortation to you is keep on believing, keep on honoring God, and keep on having a spirit of expectancy. Surround yourself with friends who are in agreement with the word of God. When it comes to complicated problems, you may not even know how to figure your way out of it, but God knows the way. What we need to do is say “yes” to Him. “I believe you Lord. I trust you and I know that you are leading and guiding me”. What we need to do is confess what God says and believe for it. At the same time, we need to let go of all thoughts that support unbelief, discouragement, sadness, depression, and fear. I am reminded of Romans 14:17 where it says, “For the Kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit” We need to disavow the kingdom of darkness. To disavow the kingdom of darkness, we need to know how the kingdom of Light functions and operates. This scripture has with it a very keen insight. Say to yourself, “I have righteousness, peace, and joy in this kingdom. That is how it functions and operates and I believe that I am part of this kingdom and God has not given me a spirit of fear, but of love, power and sound mind.”
