Romans 8:1 (KJV)
“There is therefore now no more condemnation to them that which are in Christ Jesus.”
People get stuck sometimes believing that all their sins are forgiven up until the moment they become a Christian. After that, you’d better do things right or you will fall into condemnation. That’s not what this is saying.
It is saying, God removed all judgements against you and there is nothing that hasn’t been taken care of.
Condemnation kills people. It leads us into sickness, withdrawing, and judging of others. That is not good news. Community can only be built upon mutual values and trust. That trust comes out of a heart and mind that is convinced of the reality of God’s word and God’s unwillingness to judge us because all His judgments were placed on the cross. I want to draw your attention to the words NO CONDEMNATION. Absolutely none because one has already been condemned on the cross. It wasn’t a partial work, it was a finished work. The last thing I want to draw your attention to is NOW. This is a now message. Not for some future date or past date, but in this present moment. You need to come into the full sunshine of God’s love and forgiveness.
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them who are in Christ Jesus”.
Are you in Him? Well then this is yours.
